just for the record though, its kinda hard to take shots when you're in california. why? you are almost always bound to get FAT there! (in a last visit, i gained 20 pounds in 2 weeks!!) not good for pics, esp when you got relatives holding their breath to see what you look like!
*as a note, i told my bro that i will cheerfully tolerate his kanchaws (and my sister's songs)... i think nothing's worse than being repeatedly called "bigatin margieee!". grabe talaga.
- i've been feeling frustrated lately (aaw, and so early in the new year pa naman). whatever made me get to the idea of handling a club when i already have 2 science subjects to tackle - i dunno. but man, what a load of work. honestly, i feel like i'm doing all the work. hmph. i will definitely air my complaint to my advisor. sobra na. i will NOT put as much effort to this one (even if i wanted to). studies first!
- nak ng tokwa naman o. ok, good news. i get my dean's list certificate. i get approved to be a tutor for anatomy1 (i'm also tutoring for chem). 2 of my students got A and C respectively for chemistry. that A student is now a classmate of mine in microbiology, and i am so glad of the possibility of us working together (since i know he's diligent).
the bad news involves that C student. of course, i'm happy that she passed. but is it a cruel case of fate that made her my classmate for microbiology?!?! and now that she knows that i'm also teaching anatomy1, she wants me to tutor her again?!?!? words cannot imagine the absolute horror i feel. this girl is a leech. sorry for being so frank, but that's what she really is. she really really sucks you dry. i cannot express the torture i went through last sem, but here's some brief details: she calls me in the day if i can tutor her at around 10pm. she "flings" a paper in my table and orders me to teach her all the chapters in that paper. she demands to move on to a next chemistry topic even though she doesn't understand the one we're talking about. she told me once i don't teach very well. she asks me chem questions in the CR. she always complains about her life (i'm not your counselor!!).
ok sana if she does her fair share of work. but this girl doesn't study at all. she doesn't read her books. her notes are sloppy. half the time i'm tutoring her, she's not even listening. always answering phone calls! disorganized (inside her car is an absolute mess. really. believe me, i tried riding in the passenger seat, and had to move a lot of junk to do so).
and to think she's gonna be in the same field as i am. nursing. i say to my friend once (who also knows this girl), "so, do you want her to be in charge of your dosage or take your blood?"
sayang, pretty pa naman sya. la lang brains. o my gawsh, i'm so mean....
huling hirit then i'll be done with my rant. as an icing on the cake, she called me last night to ask me what the reference number of our microbiology book is. the heck?!?! what am i, her freakin' secretary?!?! simula na po ng kalbaryo ko! i mean, c'mon, it's every student's responsibility to know all reference numbers of our books! aaaaarg!
